These mouthwatering and easy 3 steps beef empanadas are “fried” in the air fryer that only takes 8 minutes to cook!

Perfect little recipe when you have some leftover picadillo in your fridge.

3 STEPS BEEF EMPANADAS

WHAT (8 Servings)
  • 8 Goya empanada discs (in frozen section) - thawed
  • 1 cup picadillo
  • 1 egg white - whisked
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • air fryer
HOW

Preheat the air fryer to 325F (for 8 minutes)

1 Spray the basket generously with cooking spray.

2 Place 2 tablespoons of picadillo in the center of each disc. Fold in half and use a fork to seal the edges. Repeat with the remaining dough.

3 Whisk the egg whites with water, then brush the tops of the empanadas.

4 Bake 2 or 3 at a time in the air fryer (8 minutes) until golden.

5 Remove from heat and repeat with the remaining empanadas.

Enjoy!

NOTE

If you prefer to bake your flaky treats in your oven instead, double the time or bake until golden.
