We are excited to share this easy and super fun DIY with you. 4 exciting and healthy popcorn mixes to give your snacking a major upgrade. We’re going to serve you all four mixes, over the next few days. Kicking off with the Ranch mix.

Popping our own popcorn on the stovetop has made us loyal fans. In our opinion, homemade just tastes better, is a lot healthier and it gives off that warming and homey vibe… and,  it’s fun!

These popcorn mixes are made with JOLLY TIME Pop Corn popped on the stovetop with a feast of healthy add-ins which give you a super flavorful and addictive crunchy snack.

For this recipe we choose to use Jolly Time popcorn white popcorn kernels because they’re non-GMO and 100% whole grain. Ooooh Yes

So for those health conscious people who love a little crunch with lot’s of variety, you’ve just made an excellent snack choice!

  • RANCH POPCORN MIX
  • RANCH POPCORN MIX

WHAT

POPCORN (4 servings)

1/4 cup JOLLY TIME Pop Corn, unpopped

1/2 tablespoon avocado oil (or any kind of oil)



RANCH MIX

2 cups mini pretzels

2 cups rice Chex

1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon olive oil

2.5 tablespoons all-natural ranch seasoning

1/8 teaspoon sea salt - or more to taste



HOW

POPCORN
  1. Place 1/2 tablespoon of oil on the bottom of a medium-size pan. Turn heat to medium/high and place two unpopped popcorn kernels in the oil. Let sit.

  2. Once the two popcorn kernels have popped, you can add the rest of the unpopped popcorn. Cover and shake kernels so that they are fully coated in oil.

  3. Continue to periodically shake kernels (with the top on) about every 20 seconds. Soon enough, they will begin to pop!

  4. Continue shaking as the popcorn pops. Once there are about 2 or 3 seconds in between pops, you know the popcorn is done popping and it’s time to flavor!

RANCH MIX
  1. Preheat oven to 300ºF and spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Place popcorn, mini pretzels, rice Chex, on baking sheet.

  3. Then, drizzle on olive oil and toss so that everything is coated.

  4. Then, drizzle on olive oil and toss so that everything is coated.

  5. Bake at 300ºF for around 6 minutes.

  6. Let cool for 5 minutes and then enjoy!
